Reset your Nokia security code

So you don't know or you have forgotten your Nokia Security code? Don't worry the solution lies in this very page! No data cable needed with this new solution. All you need is a Master Code!

Forgetting your security code can be frustrating. For example You need this code when you want to reset your phone settings. My sImple online tool (above) will enable you to reset your security code to what ever you like.

What is a Master Code?

Well, lets assume you have forgotten your security code. The master code is a 10 digit number that will always be accepted as if it were your actual security code.

You can use the master code to change your security code back to what ever you like. When your Nokia handset asks you for the security code simply enter the master code.

How do you Generate the Master Code?

The master code is specific to your handset and is generated using the handset 15 digit IMEI number (serial number). The IMEI number can usually be found on the sticker underneath the battery or by typing *#06# into the phone keypad.

Simply enter your 15 digit serial / IMEI number into my online tool at the top of this page. Your master code will then be calculated instantly. Then you need to enter this code into your Nokia when prompted for the security code.

Which Nokia Models will this work for?
The calculated master code will only work for DCT3 and DCT4 Nokia phones. It will not work with the newer BB5 handsets.

One in five BlackBerry users eyeing other phones amid Internet service problems: Survey

One in five BlackBerry phone users are considering dumping their handsets to switch to another supplier because of the ongoing internet service problems at RIM, according to a study.
According to a survey by shopping comparison website Kelkoo, covering over 1,000 BlackBerry users, 19 per cent are thinking about moving to another manufacturer.
Meanwhile, 42 percent will consider changing later and eight per cent said they have bought a new mobile phone already, the Daily Mail reports.
The survey also revealed that seven out of ten who were planning to get a BlackBerry in the future admitted they would need some reassurance from the manufacturer, as they have been put off by the recent problems.
Chris Simpson, chief marketing officer at Kelkoo, pointed out that 'this week has been incredibly difficult for BlackBerry users across the world'.
Simpson, however, said that BlackBerry offers a market-leading product with a unique service, which nearly a third of consumers admit they will not find with any other manufacturer.
"As such, it has a loyal following and this will stand it in good stead to retain customers," he said. (ANI)
